Useful things to include

• Frame size. Your face width at the temples in millimetres, and the three numbers from inside a pair you already like. The fit guide shows where to find them.
• A lens question. What you will mostly do in them: drive, sit on a terrace, go on a boat, look at a phone. That settles polarised versus gradient versus plain in one line.
• A hinge or a coating that has failed. A photograph and roughly when you bought it. That is a guarantee claim, and we pay the postage.
• A loose or bent frame. Not a guarantee claim, but we will re-set it free if you post it. Ask first and we send the address.
• An order. Size, colour and lens can be changed until the label is printed, which is usually the next morning.
• A return. Start it by email; the address and a returns note come back the same day.
