A thinner-wire pilot with an amber or yellow tint, made for low sun and overcast days.
Pick a frame size before adding it.
The lighter sibling of the Vela, with a 1 mm wire rim and warm lenses. Amber lifts contrast when the light is flat; the yellow option is a cat. 1 lens for cycling and driving at dusk, when a dark lens would be dangerous.
Warm tints shift colours. Blues go grey, whites go cream, and a traffic light looks slightly different. Most people stop noticing in an hour; some never do.

The things about this piece that people write to us about. None of them is a fault, all of them are worth knowing first.
Cleaning. Rinse, dry with the cloth. Straighten gently if bent, or send them to us.
Protection. Every lens we sell, whatever its tint, is UV400: it blocks UVA and UVB up to 400 nm. The darkness of the tint has nothing to do with the UV filter.
Tested. Six people wore this frame for a month before it was listed. The drawbacks above are what they reported.
Orders from €80,00 ship free; below that it is €4,90. One to two working days in Italy, two to four for most of the EU.
Anything unworn, in its case with the cloth, can come back within 30 days. Hinges and lens coatings are covered for 2 years. The full policy.

Measured my face at 138 mm, took the M as the guide said, and it sits exactly where the photo shows. First pair of sunglasses I have bought online that fit.
The weight on the page is accurate. I wanted something light and the number told me which to buy before I had to try three.
The polarised lens does blank my petrol pump screen at an angle, as warned. Still my favourite pair; just wish I had read the warning first instead of second.
Hold a ruler flat across your face at eye level and read the width from temple to temple. That one number picks the size.
| Face width | Size | Lens width, this frame |
|---|---|---|
| Under 130 mm | S | 52 mm |
| 130–140 mm | M | 55 mm |
| Over 140 mm | L | 58 mm |
Bridge on this frame: 14 mm. Temple length: 140 mm. If you already own a pair that fits, the three numbers are usually printed inside one temple - compare them.
